Start with the simplest thing that works. Need more? Add it. Never the other way around.
Autonomy means accountability.
Act without asking permission. Own it without pointing fingers. Here, autonomy isn't a perk. It's a commitment.
Done is better than perfect.
Admire clean code. But never trade delivery for aesthetics. Pragmatism isn't lack of ambition. It's respect for the client's problem.
Direct, no filter.
If it's not working, say it. To the client, to the team, in any direction. Being direct isn't being rude. It's respecting everyone's time.
Quality is non-negotiable.
Speed matters. Deadlines matter. But never ship anything you wouldn't put your name on. Need more time? Say it upfront, not after.
Trust is built by delivering, not by talking.
Don't ask for trust. Deliver in week one. And week two. And week three. Trust is a consequence, not a prerequisite.
Curiosity is a requirement, not a bonus.
